Hungover = Meat Market

I'm hungover.

Power eggs will not suffice today.

Today is all about the new burger joint in town, Meat Market.

Being the sister restaurant to the famed Meat Liquor, I shall expect to feed my face with greasy, sloppy, salty, cheese sodden beef burgers.

Hell to the yes.

Hungry Stylist: Power Breakfast

 I've tried enough fad diets to know that they're depressing and never have long-lasting results.

So now, when I want to give my diet a kick up the wobbly booty I eat sensible, healthy food.

This week I've been spoiling my body with this delicious, easy and healthy breakfast.

At 230 calories you can't really knock it.

Yes that is hot water with lemon. And yes I am a health geek.

There I said it.

Stylish Spinach Scrambled eggs with Portobello mushroom

Ingredients

1 Portobello mushroom, chopped
1/2 tsp Coconut Oil
Handful of spinach
2 free range eggs

Instructions
1. Pop the coconut oil into a non-stick pan. Add the chopped up mushroom and spinach.
2. Whisk eggs, add S&P
3. Slide into the pan and scramble.
4. If you're a carb fiend then add a slice of wholemeal toast with a slick of organic butter or coconut butter.

Shock! Victoria Beckham does track pants

Designed not worn them.

That's one thing we will never see; the queen of heels slobbing out in David's trackies.

I bet she does though.

Anyway she's designed some track pants for her Denim range and they've already sold out.

That's a trend if I've ever heard of one.

Dig out the boys marl grey trackie bottoms, team with skinny silk vest and metallic wedge sport boot and you'll be miles ahead of the fash pack.

The boyfriend was in his element, I was not.

However, I could appreciate the colour, texture and teeny tiny details in the paintings that were produced, like a zillion years ago.

... fed my face with good Italian food.

Jamie's Italian on George St

We drank Prosecco and house wine out of cartons.

We ate prosciutto ham, pear and rocket salad followed by garlicky prawn linguine (me) and lamb meatball pappardelle (him).

We stank of garlic.

.... fitted in like a student, in a shirt dress and tweed coat.

.... got wet in April showers, ate more, drank more and left Oxford happy and sleepy.

How I'd Wear it: Colour block maxi skirt

A maxi suits all shapes and sizes.

Firstly, keep it cool with a grungy leather jacket.

Secondly, keep in with the brights and clash with vibrant yellow shades. My motto the brighter the better.

Thirdly, I would personally wear heels as otherwise it would be trailing along the floor.

I've been blessed with one meaty derriére and ahem, shapely hips.

New Shoes

I bought new shoes at the weekend and I feel rather smug with my purchases.

I first saw the deck shoes in Elle magazine and I'd previously spotted the sexy faux-snakeskin points in-store one week ago.

Originally I thought £75 was steep for the snakies, but the new 30 quid sale price definitely made all the difference.
